Music in Mind in care home life

My name's Alison. I'm a home manager at Millfield Care Home in Oldham. I help run this home for 38 residents, all with different care needs. Well, I'm hoping the Music in Mind program will enhance quality of life and help build relationships with residents, care assistants, and family and friends. The home has training targets that we do have to meet, and the Music Champions program will help staff meet them targets. Music plays a massive part in our residents' lives. It helps unlock emotions and memories. It's a way of communicating and building and stimulating social interaction.
